About the Author



        The author Jason Blanchard has had an all-consuming life-long passion for two subjects--Spirituality & Science.

        As a young boy, even before entering school, he was busy reading books and studying the natural world, demonstrating an intense intellectual curiosity atypical even in older children.  His inquisitive mind knew no bounds and he pursued his interests, as varied as they were, with all the vigor and enthusiasm that is typical of youth.

        Upon entering school, he soon realized that our educational institutions were severely lacking, and were, seemingly by design, either wholly incapable or simply unwilling to teach anything of real worth to its students.  Owing to the fact that self-education was already a perfectly natural activity to him, the author chose not to rely solely upon standard education to satisfy his yearning for knowledge, and set about to educate himself in all subjects of interest as he saw fit, but especially that of Science, in all of its myriad disciplines.  This mode of conduct, this "educational self reliance", has remained a part of his natural disposition ever since....

        His introduction to the "spiritual world", or more factually the Religious world, began with a typical American brainwashing, or indoctrination, into a traditional religion.  The illogic and absurdity of religious doctrine, dogma, and all of its bizarre rituals did nothing in the way of helping the author further his intellectual, much less spiritual development.  Frankly, it flew in the face of all that was Absolute Truth.

        In the same way that school was incapable of furnishing a secular education, so did religion also fail in its attempts to provide a spiritual education.  Religion served as a means of control in the author's life, and became a horrible trap from which he could not escape until he was able to make the conscious choices which naturally come with adulthood.

        The author discovered the real Spiritual world not long after dumping the idiocy of organized religion.  Spirituality in its various forms, occultism, all manner of "new age" subjects, eastern philosophy, and even Yoga was devoured as quickly as possible.  These seeds of knowledge really began to blossom when the author began meditating, a practice which has since become a habit.

        It was due to his endless lifelong Herculean efforts at self-education into all manner of subjects within the fields of both Science and Spirit that the author was eventually able to discover the all important links between the two disciplines.

        Society believes today, as it has believed for thousands of years, that Spirit and Science are totally at odds with one another and cannot be reconciled ......

.......   but then again this is the same society which senselessly perpetuates both an impotent "spiritual" system as soul salvation and a floundering educational system which is failing as badly as some of its students.
        The author's "Spiritual Science" discovery thereby came as no big surprise ......

        Upon realizing the existence of a Spiritual Science, the author set about writing a book on the subject, mostly for the reason that he could see absolutely no one in the vast field of authors who had already done so.  Thus, the book, "The Spiritual Science of Miracles" was conceived and completed.

        This much background information on the author's life leading up to the writing of his book will suffice, since all of the relevant details of these occurrences are told with tremendous detail in the author's own words in the very first section of "The Spiritual Science of Miracles".

        In addition to his writings and continuous study, research, and practice with the Spiritual Science, the author is also a musician, composer, a music teacher, a sound recording and mixing engineer.  He is also at work (occasionally) on his own solo musical effort, which is slowly progressing towards (hopefully) an eventual Compact Disc release.

        Just as he has all of his life, the author is constantly studying subjects both Scientific and Spiritual, and delving deeper into the Spiritual Science.  He is currently writing a second “Spiritual Science” book, researching for a third, and in addition to writing these & possibly more volumes in the “Spiritual Science Series”, he also has some long-range projects (novels/screenplays) in the works.
